About Land Planning Services
Since 1998, Land Planning Services (LPS) has been assisting property owners, realtors, builders, attorneys, and architects with the research, planning and permit applications necessary to make improvements to residential, commercial and institutional properties in the Towns of East Hampton, Southampton, and the Villages of East Hampton, Sagaponack and Sag Harbor.
LPS successfully navigates land use regulations and the permit process, and provides timely and knowledgeable services regarding Building Department, Trustee, Planning Board, Zoning Board, Conservation Board, Architecture Review Board, Suffolk County Health Department, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, the New York State Department of Transportation, Suffolk County Department of Public Works, and the Federal Army Corps of Engineers.
Laurie Wiltshire, President
Ms. Wiltshire obtained her degree from Cook College at Rutgers University before working as a contracts administrator at Paramount Pictures and New Line Cinema in Los Angeles and New York City.
She relocated to East Hampton in 1995 and consulted for a private land planning firm as an administrator of environmental permits prior to establishing LPS in 1998. She is the immediate past president of the East Hampton Business Alliance, and has held seats on the Board of Directors for LTV and the East Hampton Day Care Center as well as advisory seats on the Business Subcommittee for the Town of East Hampton Comprehensive Plan and the Springs School and East Hampton School Districts’ Long Term Planning Committees. She is also an active member of the Southampton Rotary Club.
